Telecom transformers are used in applications which require high bandwidths and fast switching speeds. They isolate the signal between primary and secondary grounds. This product area includes DSL, xDSL, T1, E1, ISDN, LAN, WAN, Ethernet, ATM and modem transformers. Search by Specification | Learn More about Telecom Transformers
Cast coil transformers have windings that are solidly-cast in resin under a vacuum in a mold. This manufacturing process covers the transformer windings in a strong epoxy resin with a high dielectric strength. Learn More about Cast Coil Transformers
Toroidal transformers typically consist of copper wire wrapped around a cylindrical core. This design prevents the magnetic flux that occurs within the coil from leaking. Search by Specification | Learn More about Toroidal Transformers
Pulse transformers interface a pulse forming network (PFN) and a load. They match the impedance of the load to the PFN in order to maximize power-transfer efficiency. Search by Specification | Learn More about Pulse Transformers
Analog resistance meters are instruments that measure electrical resistance. They display values on a dial, usually with a needle or moving pointer. Search by Specification | Learn More about Analog Resistance Meters
Switch mode transformers (switching transformers) are used mainly in switching power supplies and DC-DC converters. They provide a storage element for transferring energy from input to output in discrete packets as required in switching power supplies, regulators and converters. Search by Specification | Learn More about Switch Mode Transformers

The most common winding wire is magnet wire in either its single-end or stranded "Litz" form. The magnet wire coating is generally not sufficient for insulating between winding turns, separate windings, and between the winding and ground as the magnet wire coating can easily be damaged. It is for this reason that additional interleaved insulation is needed. (read more)
